STUNDE NULL – Die Kunstbewegung ZERO

For the arts in Germany, the future began in 1958. The documentary "HOUR NULL - The Art Movement ZERO" recalls the most important avant-garde movement after World War II, founded by Heinz Mack and Otto Piene, which propagated not only a new approach to art and its materials, but the relation of art to the world entirely to one raised a new level. In the film, Heinz Mack, Günther Uecker and Otto Piene, who gave one of his last major interviews, remember the beginnings, first ideas and early colleagues: "The ZERO artists, who met very early in this world. Not only in Dusseldorf, but also in Paris, or in Milan or in London "(Mack). Historians rate the ZERO movement. The film itself immerses in the typical ZERO elements with  fire, air and light. The circle closes with a surprising insight into the current art scene: ZERO is alive.
